Getting to know the Archangels

There is an amazing world that exists just beyond our conscious awareness.

It is the amazing and awe-inspiring world of angels. These loving beings support, guide and surround us in light and love. Waiting for us to open our hearts and minds to the possibility of the miracles they have planned for us.

The World of Angels

Angels are our connection to the spiritual realm. They are the messengers of God. They not only make sure our prayers reach the heavens, but they also watch over us, protect us and guide us along our life path.

There are several kinds of angels, including seraphim, cherubim, thrones, archangels and general angels.  All of which have different angelic ranks and responsibilities.

The most well-known angels are the guardian angels and the archangels. Both are important and loving forces in our lives, but they have very different roles.

Everyone is born with at least one guardian angel. This angel watches over and protects you throughout your life. Your guardian angel guides you along your life path and provides comfort along the way.

Who are the Archangels?

Archangels are a group of angels that God has assigned to support, guide, and deliver his messages to us. They also defend, provide protection and fight for the greater good of the earth and all its inhabitants.

The word arch comes from the word archi meaning “first” and denotes someone who has authority over a group. The word angel comes from the Latin word angelus, which means messenger.

All angels are the messengers of God and the archangels are the ones who oversee and manage the other angels in the angelic realm. They ensure everything is running smoothly and all is well.

Each archangel also specialized in certain areas of life. They oversee, manage and help those of us who are in need of their specialization and power. 

There’s an Archangel For That

There are several archangels, some better known than others. And each one has a specialty that is particularity helpful to call on in times of need. If you need help with finances, love, health, negative thinking or finally de-cluttering that closet – there is an archangel who can help with that.

Archangels are available, ready, and willing to help us through any kind of situation you can imagine. As a matter of fact, archangels love when we ask for their assistance. All you need to do is ask, and the archangels will be there to guide, communicate, heal and perform miracles for you. 

Unlike our guardian angels, archangels will come and go as needed throughout our lives but are always available to call on and ask for assistance. They’ll even come just because you feel like having an angel hanging around.

Archangels, as with any spiritual being, are not limited to time and space so there is never any reason to worry an archangel or even several archangels are too busy or that you might be a burden. They can simultaneously be in many places, in many times and accomplish as many tasks as needed.

Getting to Know the Archangels Blog Series

In this blog series, Getting to know the Archangels, I will be introducing you to several archangels so you can get to know them individually.

Then you can call on specific archangels for any need, problem or celebration you have. Have a conversation with the archangel you feel most connected to. Or ask an archangel to be by the side of a loved one.

Do I Need to Know All the Archangels?

Knowledge of specific angels is not necessary or even important for everyone. The only thing you need to do is think the word angels. They know what is in your heart and will respond accordingly.

The archangels will respond and assist whenever they are needed. All we need to do is realize they exist and ask for their assistance. 

However, I personally have found great reward and comfort in knowing who the archangels are and what it is they do. I feel confident when asking them to assist in my personal life and with friends and loved ones. I also love having the ability to ask specific archangels to be with those in need of assistance.

So, for those of you want a deeper and closer relationship with a specific archangel (or many of them) I am writing this series for you.

As I begin this series, I will draw a card from Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Oracle Cards deck.

Whichever archangel is on that card, I will research and write a post about.

What will be included

Each entry is going to be about a single archangel. It will provide a detailed introduction of the archangel and provide information on what that angel is associated with.

Areas covered will be:

• A description of the archangel
• The role of the archangel
• When to call on that archangel
• Other associations such as color, crystal, element, chakra, essential oil and astrological sign
